What they said about us…

A message from His Holiness, the late Pope John Paul II, through Monsignor Gabriele Caccia, Assessor, Secretariat of State, read:

His Holiness, Pope John Paul II“His Holiness is very grateful for your daily prayers for his intentions and for his universal pastoral mission. He in his turn assures you of his own prayers in your work of helping married couples. He cordially imparts his Apostolic Blessing.”

His Eminence Alfonso Cardinal López Trujillo, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, wrote:

His Eminence Alfonso Cardinal López Trujillo, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family“…it is with great satisfaction to read that your Centre seems to provide a service that the 15th Plenary Assembly of the Pontifical Council for the Family called for. We pray that your renewed enthusiasm for the care of the couples be fruitful, and bring to both of you the satisfaction of being of assistance to marriage in difficulty.”

The Right Reverend Edwin Regan, Bishop of Wrexham, wrote:

The Right Reverend Edwin Regan, Bishop of WrexhamThe Catechism of the Catholic Church states ‘In our own time, in a world often alien and even hostile to the faith, believing families are of primary importance as centres of living, radiant faith’ (§ 1656). Because of the importance of marriage and the family, I thank all those who work to support married people who are called to be living signs of Christ’s love for His Church. However, married couples often need help if their relationship is to grow and develop. This is why I welcome the presence in the Diocese of the Catholic Centre for Healing in Marriage, and pray that the work of the Centre will help many couples to come to a deeper understanding of their love for each other and the love of Christ for them.”
